Blue Ridge Light Forms, Virginia’s premier event lighting design/production company, was incorporated in December of 2001 in Charlottesville, VA. The company was formed in response to an overwhelming demand for high caliber technical event services in the central Virginia market, and a lack of business qualified to provide those services.
During our first year in business we were involved in more than two-dozen projects. Signature events included the following:
- The Art Museum of Western Virginia Ice Ball
- The Virginia Film Festival Gala Night
- The University of Virginia Historical Preservation Society Donor Recognition Dinner
- The Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA Critter Ball
- The Grand Re-opening of Charlottesville Fashion Square Mall
- The Foxfield Wild Pony Ball
We have also worked on various private weddings, anniversary events, birthday parties, housewarming soirees, as well as several corporate functions.
In Virginia we have worked in Charlottesville (including all around Albemarle County), Keswick, Richmond, Roanoke and Staunton. In addition, our events have taken us to New York, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina.
Our range of services provided has varied from simple ambiance lighting design, installation and operation for small events, to full service technical design and production coordination including lighting, power distribution, audio/visual elements, special effects, staging, scenic elements, technical props and/or technical décor.
Now, early in our second year of doing business, we all ready have completed more projects and/or confirmed upcoming jobs in the first six months of 2003 than we had in all of 2002.
And this is just the beginning.
